One of my favorite quotes from Bill Plotkin :
“. . . seeking and surrendering to those mysterious and enigmatic fascinations that promise to devastate us in all the right ways, turn our lives upside down and inside out, plunge us into magic and rapture, and in the bargain, liberate us from whatever doldrums our everyday lives may have marooned us in.”
(Wild Mind, page 97)
Bonefire Mentoring
The ancient Celts had a communal practice of lighting their family’s hearth fire with the flames of the village “bonefire.” We get the term “bonfire” from the practice. Let’s sit and tend the fire together.
